Operation Jacket Snatch
A single corner of a warehouse was transformed into a criminal hideaway, designed to suggest multiple days of concealment and improvised living. The environment was built to feel worn, functional, and psychologically informed, supporting character and tone within a limited footprint.
The set was constructed primarily from recycled and found materials. Discarded cardboard boxes, packing materials, and free takeaway containers were sourced and repurposed to create layered set dressing and practical prop elements. Material reuse was central to the design approach, emphasizing realism, texture, and resourceful problem-solving.
A custom book cover was designed as a hero prop to add narrative specificity and subtle character insight. All elements were composed with camera framing in mind, ensuring the space read clearly and cinematically from multiple angles.
This project highlights strengths in concept development, sustainable sourcing, prop fabrication, spatial storytelling, and designing under tight logistical constraints.
